Safer Internet Week
As a school, we explored the idea of respect and positive relationships when using the internet.
Using the internet safely and positively is a key message that we promote in school and celebrating Safer Internet Week is a great opportunity for us to re-emphasise the online safety messages we deliver throughout the year. Safer Internet Week is a global campaign to promote the safe and responsible use of technology.
As part of this week, students worked together to build a replica of the school in Minecraft. Over the course of the week, students ranging from Year 7 to Year 11, along with the help of some teachers, attempted the challenge of building an exact replica of the BHGS site. The group showed fantastic teamwork and communication skills to develop something that looked amazingly identical to the school!
