We are proud of our fully comprehensive cohort of pupils, and as a non-selective school we are delighted that pupils from the full spectrum of economic backgrounds make rapid and excellent progress to achieve their potential.
A Level Exam Results 2024
Bishop’s Hatfield Girls’ School is proud to announce that fantastic GCSE, BTEC and A Level grades were achieved in 2024.
Overall our Post-16 results this year are up on 2023 and by many measures are some of the best the school has ever had.
● Over one-third of all grades were at A*/A
● Nearly 90 % of all results were at grades A*-C
● 33% (28 students) achieved at least 2 grades at A*/A
● 12 students achieved 3 or more A*/A grades
All of the above measures put Bishop’s well above both national and local attainment averages. Bishop’s students have secured some fantastic places for next year in a variety of fields, including Law, Medecine, Humanities and Mathematics. All students who made a university application have gained a place at one of their chosen universities, and an increasing number of students have successfully gained places on very competitive apprenticeships.

Bishop’s Hatfield Girls’ School is proud to announce that fantastic GCSE, BTEC and A Level grades were achieved in 2023. This year saw the return of public examinations being matched to pre-pandemic assessment criteria and reflect the hard work, determination and commitment of both our staff and students. We would like to congratulate all pupils on their excellent results.
Key A Level statistics for 2023:
- 34.3% of all entries were awarded A*- A
- 61.8% of all grades were awarded A*- B
- 84.2% of all entries were awarded A*- C

Bishop’s Hatfield Girls’ School is proud to announce that the GCSE, BTEC and A Level grades achieved in 2022 are outstanding. This year saw the return of public examinations, after two years of grades being established via a comprehensive system of school based assessment. These results are some of our highest ever and reflect the hard work and commitment of both our staff and students.

- 39.9% of all entries were awarded A*- A
- 70.2% of all grades were awarded A*- B
- 87.1% of all entries were awarded A*- C
