Examinations
Pupils sit public examinations at GCSE, BTEC and GCE A level on completion of a course of study.
For A level and BTEC level 3, this is usually at the end of year 13. For GCSE and BTEC level 2, this is usually at the end of year 11 apart from some pupils who may take mother tongue examinations early. Pupils are prepared for these public examinations through varied assessment methods from year 7. We are fully compliant with JCQ regulations in respect of the conduct of public examinations.
