International Food Tasting Event

Delicious food from around the world!

To celebrate our International Fairtrade Fortnight (25th February until 8th March 2019), students brought in plates of delicious food linked to their culture to share with their peers (and staff!). There were foods from all continents to taste at lunchtime on Friday 1st March. This popular event attracted a large number of students and staff who patiently queued to taste the different foods, including potato and vegetable curries, chin chin (little crispy doughnuts) snacks, a range of tasty rice dishes, a polish meat dish, Indian snacks, Victoria sandwich cakes and spicy Italian biscuits. There was a real “buzz” in the room and everyone left smiling. Thank you to everyone who contributed a dish of food and to Miss Grossman for organising the event. We will definitely organise this event again next year.
