BHGS Open Day & Tours
Welcome to Bishop’s Hatfield’s Girls’ School Open Day!
I have the privilege of being the Headteacher at this outstanding school and I am proud to give you an insight into school life, our ethos and values, and our fantastic facilities.
Our Open Evening took place on Thursday 21st September 2023 from 5 to 8pm, when prospective Year 6 pupils and their parents were able to take a tour around our school and listen to our Headteacher. Headteacher welcome talks took place at 5:10pm, 6pm and 7pm with limited spaces. So we could not guarantee a specific time.
There is only very limited parking on site. So planning your visit ahead of time and considering alternative car parks is always essential.
We also run Open Day Tours from Monday 25th September to Thursday 28th September (at 9:10am or 1:30pm). These are for Year 6 pupils and parents/carers and by appointment only. To make an appointment, please call our Admin Office on 01707 275331 .
If you have missed either of these opportunities, you can still discover our school through a range of virtual resources below, including a virtual tour of our facilities, speeches by our current and former pupils as well as parents and governors, general and subject specific information about our curriculum, enrichment clubs and much more.

Our former pupils’ journey with BHGS does not end as they take their last exam. Our thriving alumni community’s mission is to continues to inspire and support our students. Amongst our former students is a whole host of talented role models whom we like to hear about. Thanks to our Future First digital hub, we are able to celebrate their successes, inspire our current pupils and help them connect with each other. Alumni can be brought back to share career and further education advice, mentor students, create a rich network of work-related experience placements, job opportunities, social engagement and much more.
