Year 8 Maths Team Challenge

On the 2nd May, four Year 8 students took part in a Maths Team Challenge against other Hertfordshire schools. The team, Shakti P, Shruti G, Victoria S and Daniella E, achieved excellent results in this countywide competition and are through to the final in June. The challenge involves solving mathematical puzzles, a memory round and estimation questions. The team threw themselves into the challenge, determined to enjoy themselves and showed great teamwork. Like true mathematicians, there was some heated debate on the best approach to some of the questions, which led to excellent results. Well done to everyone involved for getting through to the final!
