Year 7 Science Museum Trip
Pupils explored the evolution of technology!
The Year 7 pupils thoroughly enjoyed their trip to the Science Museum in London, where they immersed themselves in the captivating world of technological evolution. The interactive exhibits and engaging displays sparked their curiosity, allowing them to explore the history of inventions and advancements. From the earliest innovations to the latest breakthroughs, the students were enthralled by the dynamic journey through time. Siabi D from 7 Austen said: “To find out that most people started their businesses out of their garage is amazing. For example with Ed Roberts he started a business from his garage; he sold radios and model rockets. In the end he made the first microcomputer -The Altair 8800- this happened in 1974. Ada Lovelace completed a similar experiment in 1843. She had said that her computer might only be able to do mathematics but later on it would do greater things and as she said it became true’.
