Year 7 Maths Team Challenge

Year 7 Maths Teams Compete against other Schools across Hertfordshire.

On the 4th March, two teams from BHGS took part in the Herts For Learning Year 7 Maths Team Challenge. This is a countywide competition where the groups compete against other schools to demonstrate their Maths skills. They contend with problem solving, estimation and memory questions. One of our teams received a particular commendation for their memory skills. Although we didn’t go through to the next round, both groups showed great team work and determination as well as a real sense of enjoyment of the tasks.
