Remembrance Ceremony
Bishop’s Commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Armistice
On Friday 9th November we held a Remembrance Ceremony to commemorate those who have lost their lives or suffered due to war or conflict. The whole school participated in the ceremony, led by a number of our girls who volunteer as cadets in the services. We heard readings from Beth Valentine and Lucy Davis in Year 10 and Amy North in Year 11 sounded the Last Post before the observation of two minutes of silence. The ceremony was very moving; a chance for us all to reflect on, and learn from, those who have suffered.
