Year 11 Bishop’s Warriors Take on the Ultimate Challenge!
Year 11 work in teams to master the obstacles in the Bishop’s Warriors event on Valentines day – demonstrating the Bishop’s 360 values
On Valentine’s Day, our incredible Year 11 pupils braved the freezing February weather to take part in the legendary Bishop’s Warriors obstacle course – and they did it in style! From Claudia Winkleman lookalikes (The Traitors) to TY toys, Ninjas, “Banana” Minions, a Shrek and horse duo, butterflies and even a giant inflatable gingerbread man, the creativity on display was second to none. The course itself was packed with challenges, pushing every participant to their limits. They scrambled under a cargo net, battled it out in a tug of war, powered through rugby drills and weight challenges, navigated the tricky rope corridor, “slipped and slid”, whilst being hosed by Miss Graves, and even took on the dreaded cool pool. The wet wheelbarrow “wace” was another highlight, while the mental challenges tested their problem-solving skills under pressure. Through perseverance, teamwork, and sheer determination, our Year 11s discovered just how much they can achieve when they push themselves—an invaluable lesson as they prepare for their GCSEs. The atmosphere was one of camaraderie, and the laughter and cheers made it an unforgettable afternoon. A huge thank you to both Mr Underwood senior and junior, to Ms Langston and Dr Bune, whose hard work and creativity brought this fantastic course to life.
Well done, Year 11—you truly are Bishop’s Warriors!
