A Virtual Willow Foundation Christmas Carol Concert
BHGS Choir sings virtually in the Willow Foundation Carol Concert 2020
Every year, our Bishop’s Choir takes great pride in performing in The Willow Foundation Christmas Carol Concert, held in St Albans’ Cathedral with the prestigious Herts Chorus and many other artists. In 2020 however, the Coronavirus pandemic forced the charity to suspend the Special Days that it offers to seriously ill 16 to 40 year old adults. Its legendary concert couldn’t take place either. Instead, an online concert replaced it on 4th December. An audience of over 700 people still registered to watch the event. Due to the virtual nature of the concert, a professionally pre-recorded soundtrack of our choir in the school hall was used. Their voices still sounded heavenly and for those who missed the concert, a YouTube link is available until the end of December.
