Letters to the German Christmas Angel
Year 7 Pupils join in with the annual German tradition of writing wish letters to Das Christkind
Once again this year, over 120 Year 7 pupils joined in with thousands of German children in producing handwritten decorated letters in German to Das Christkind, represented as a Christmas Angel, who brings the gifts on Christmas Day.
The letters were posted to the small town of Engelskirchen, near Cologne, where the special Christmas Post Office is set up. As this is being written replies are being received back from Germany (See the images shown here).
