Saying Goodbye to Year 13s at the Leaver’s Ball
On the 27th June, Year 13 enjoyed their Leavers’ Ball at Mill Green Golf Club thanks to Mrs James, Mrs Healy and the Prom Committee.
And what a great evening, it was! From 7pm, the music was blaring and everyone hit the dance floor! After jumping in the photo booth with friends, we all came together to unwind and celebrate the start of our post-exam summer. Heels were thrown to the side and the sweet bar was swiftly emptied as Year 13s danced the night away.
After an hour or so of picture taking and singing, it was time for everyone to refuel at the buffet in preparation for many more hours of dancing, singing, and trying to convince Mr Kench to join us on the dance floor. Whilst we were eating, DJ Andy was kind enough to announce a series of awards, such as Kindest Person, Most likely to Become famous, and Funniest person.
Mrs Ruffhead and Mrs James joined in the dancing, enjoying some ABBA with all the girls, but DJ Andy came out and danced the Candy with us all, showing us how it’s done!
The Leavers’ Ball was a great end to our time at Bishop’s, leaving us all with amazing memories and stunning pictures taken in the scenic landscape of the golf course.
