Plastic Pollution in the Oceans
How the world is coping with plastic pollution in the oceans
Our Save The World Club looks at plastic pollution
10% of the plastic produced by the world every year enters the ocean each year and our addiction to single use is to blame.
A simple walk along any beach across the world and the plastic waste disaster is present. The spectacle becomes more poignant as thousands of bird corpses rest on these beaches with piles of colourful plastic remaining where their stomachs have been.
Do you think this is right?
– To help stop this disaster, when you’re walking in the street, if you see any litter, pick it up and put in the nearest bin to help save marine life.
– Use paper and other recyclable items like paper cups and bags.
