Inter House Gymnastics is back!

The 2-year wait is over for the return of Inter House Gymnastics!

During January and February 2022, the PE department ran the 2nd whole school Inter House competition of the academic year: Inter House Gymnastics.

Each form had to choose a maximum of 3 entries for their House and to compete against other Houses in their PE lessons. Pupils had to choreograph a floor routine lasting between 1-2 minutes (depending on the year group / shorter time period for Years 7 and 8) and could choose any other apparatus and music of their choice.

Results were as follows (top 3 for each year group):

Year 7 1st place – Georgia W (7Se);  2nd place – Siahra E (7Fr);  3rd place – Keira M (7Se) Overall House points: 1st – Seacole (100 HPs), 2nd – Franklin (50HPs) 3rd – Austen (25HPs) 4th – Parr (10HPs) and 5th – Hadid (10HPs)

Year 8 1st place – Emma W (8Ha); 2nd place – Francesca – Rose G (8Ha); 3rd place – Polly C (8Pa) Overall House points: 1st – Hadid (100 HPs), 2nd – Parr (50HPs) 3rd – Franklin (25HPs) 4th – Austen (10HPs) and 5th – Seacole (10HPs)

Year 9 1st place – Emily P (9Fr) 2nd place – Emily P and Amelia T (9Fr) 3rd place – Gracie-R K (9Fr) Overall House points: 1st – Franklin (100 HPs), 2nd – Austen (50HPs) 3rd – Parr(25HPs) 4th – Hadid (10HPs) and 5th – Seacole (10HPs)

NO YEAR 10 COMPETITION

Year 11 1st place – Katelin R (11Se) 2nd place – Megan C (11Pa) 3rd place – Amber D (11Au) Overall House points: 1st – Parr (100 HPs), 2nd – Seacole (50HPs) 3rd – Austen (25HPs)
