Emphatic win for Bishop’s Footballers

Bishop’s Under 13 football team wins U13 English Schools FA cup Round 3 (11:1) in adverse weather

On a bitter February day, with sleet, hail and a biting cross wind, the U13 English Schools FA cup away fixture against Aldenham School, seemed an incredibly challenging prospect. Of course, our pupils demonstrated the full Bishop 360 culture and rose to the occasion; demonstrating character, skill and a clear understanding of their strengths. An emphatic win, with the final score 11 (eleven):1 to Bishop’s, sees the U13 team reach the 4th Round of the cup. In fact, the victory was so comprehensive that the second half was shortened by 10 minutes!

The goals were distributed as follows: Evie 5, Reecie 2, Jahziah 2, Jasmine 1 and Alice 1.
