Year 8 creative Ecosystem cakes and models

Year 8 have been studying Ecosystems this term. They were given two lessons to work in groups to research different biomes to present to the class. The presentations were fantastic, informing their peers about the location of their allocated biome, the climate and plant and animal adaptations.

The students were then given the challenge of applying their knowledge on ecosystems to create either an ecosystem cake, model or poster. They rose to the challenge and produced some beautiful cakes, models and posters that were put out on display for our Open Evening.
