Our School Fund has been launched!
We are pleased that our School Fund has now been launched. This fundraising vehicle complements the hard work and generous donations received through the Parents’ Association. We understand that some parents are unable to commit time to support Parents’ Association events and activities and hope that you could consider making a one-off or regular, small donation to the school instead.
For those who feel able to make a regular contribution by standing order, please complete the form below and return it to our Finance Office. The school is an exempt charity (reference number EW01517) and can therefore claim back tax on gift aided donations of 25p for every £1 donated. So, if you are a UK taxpayer, please tick the box and provide your address and postcode.
Alternatively, we would be happy to receive one-off donations from parents or carers at any time, again using the attached form or else please click the “Donation” box in Wisepay.
The School Fund will provide us with the opportunity to save towards vital IT equipment and furniture that we are unable to afford out of our government funding. This is particularly important as we look towards moving into our new school building in September 2016.
Raise funds for the school when shopping online
Please help us raise money for the school by doing your online shopping through Easyfundraising. Just click on the link below to register and then access your favourite online retailer through Easyfundraising to ensure the school gets a donation for each purchase. Large companies such as Amazon, Tesco, John Lewis and M&S all subscribe and will make a donation of between 1.5% and 6% of the price of your item to the school – and it won’t cost you a penny!
So, if you want to buy a book from Amazon, for example, you would go to easyfundraising.org.uk first – or use your favourites on the toolbar – and then select Amazon. Buy your book in the usual way and Amazon will make the donation to easyfundraising who allocates this to your chosen charity.
